The website is part of an initiative to setup a European infrastructure that will enable the use of HLT for Spoken Narratives (with a focus on Oral History by scholars from the humanities and social sciences. If succesful, it will be part of the European CLARIN infrastructure.

A number of workshops (2016 - 2020) will serve as a starting point to define the services, the metadata schemes and more. The outcome of these workshops is reported on this website.
