Waveform Audio File Format: a file format for storing digital audio. While WAV-files can be compressed, they are often used for their ability to store very high quality, uncompressed audio streams.

Software used for inputting, editing, formatting and outputting text, often along with other features. Popular examples are Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
